As a Chartered Accountant and an MBA graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, I have spent my career navigating the corporate world and helping others with their educational journeys as an MBA admissions consultant. However, my true passion lies in giving back to the community, especially to children and families who face barriers to education.
The idea for Viaana Foundation was born during my time at IIM Ahmedabad, inspired by my personal experience of financing the education of my house help's children. Over the years, I have supported their education, and today, I am proud to say that those children are now graduates and well-employed, leading independent and successful lives. This transformation confirmed my belief in the power of education to break cycles of poverty and change lives.
Viaana Foundation was founded with the simple yet powerful mission of providing education and holistic support to underprivileged children, particularly young girls, while also addressing critical needs like healthcare, vocational training, women’s empowerment, and affordable housing. Through this foundation, I hope to make a lasting impact and empower communities to break free from cycles of poverty. I truly believe that together, we can create a future where every child, no matter their background, has access to opportunities for a brighter tomorrow.
